The BMW X3 is a minimal crossover SUV advertised by the German automaker BMW, in view of the BMW 3 Series car platform, and now in its second generation. BMW planned the X3 in conjunction with Magna Steyr of Graz, Austria — who manufactures every X3s under contract to BMW.

Taking after the X5, the X3 was the second vehicle advertised by BMW as a Games Action Vehicle (SAV).
