Nevertheless, the engineers in Sant’Agata Bolognese managed to reduce the weight of the new Spyder Performante by a further 65 kilograms (143 lbs). The open super sports car tips the scales with a dry weight of no more than 1.485 kilograms (3.274 lbs) – a new best for that highly exclusive market segment occupied by Lamborghini.

On November 20, 2008, Lamborghini affirmed the conveyance of the final Lamborghini Reventon to a British client of the official Midlands dealer, Lamborghini Birmingham. On the other hand, CarsUK's later report debated the official case, and revealed that the auto 20 was transported to Lamborghini Houston, as were several other autos.

Lamborghini Murcielago view

In a continuation of Lamborghini's custom of giving its autos names from the land of bullfighting, the Murcielago was named for a battling bull that survived 28 sword strokes in a 1879 battle in opposition to Rafael "El Lagartijo" Molina Sanchez, at the Coso de los califas bullring in Cordoba, Spain. Murcielago fought with such passion and spirit that the matador decided on to spare its existence, a rare honor. The bull, which originated from Joaquin del Val di Navarra's homestead, was later displayed as an endowment to Don Antonio Miura, a noted nearby raiser; consequently started the famed Miura line of battling bulls, which furnished the name for one of Lamborghini's first terrific autos.

Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

In March 2010, Lamborghini announced the release of the LP 570-4 Superleggera - a lightweight and more powerful version of the Gallardo LP 560-4. Carbon fiber is used extensively inside and out to reduce weight to only 2,954 lb (1,340 kg) - enough to make the LP 570-4 the lightest road-going Lamborghini in the range.
The 5.2-liter V10 engine produces 570 horsepower, and can travel from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.4 seconds, up to a 202 mph (325 km/h) top speed.
