The Dodge Caliber has counted

Dodge Caliber is a crossover of compact size, which replaced the Chrysler Neon model year model 2007. This car was a relative success in the Chilean market product of its price ratio product and brand, emphasizing style sports hatchback, associated with a more characteristic of a utilitarian sports clearance SUV. Now recently we learned that the production of the Dodge Caliber will have an end on 23 November. Why? Initially the Dodge Caliber was heavily criticised by their interior finishes and the quality of its plastics, however for the 2010 model year there was a considerable improvement in this aspect. However this model along with his brother Jeep Compass, never managed the expectations of sales in United States, its home market. Also Dodge Caliber only has in favour in relation to Chrysler Neon inner size and exterior style, although he could never match it in terms of acceleration and fuel consumption, partly awkward variable continuous automatic transmission product CVT. With that it would replace the Dodge Caliber? It is hoped a new compact premiering during 2012, which will be a joint development between Chrysler and Fiat, possibly with motorization turbo 1.4 litres. Perhaps what we see as a conceptual during the Auto Show Detroit to be held in January 2012.
